My home town, and there's been a lot of great changes since I left for another city a few decades ago. The Seaport District is vibrant, especially with young professionals and tourists. Boston's Faneuil Hall & Italian North End are still delightful.

It had been 15 years+ since we had last been to Boston and I'd forgotten how lovely a city it is. Very walkable with plenty to do and see from Quincy Market, Boston Common to Harvard Square. We had a great few days and our 2 teens especially enjoyed

Boston parking is the worst. Become familiar w/the parking apps, see meters for info. You can only park in a space for 2 hrs, so I was paying with the app for one 2-hr span, then walking to the car to pay with a card for the next 2-hr span. Not ideal

If I were to move from San Francisco, Boston would be at the top of my preference list. It's so walkable, even across to Harvard and MIT. Boston is synonymous with American history, yet is quite diverse both in its residents and its visitors.

The $22.50 7-day MBTA Link Pass was worth for my 5-day stay (a value of 9 one-way trips) and the $10 Weekend Commuter rail pass (I used it for a round-trip to Salem) was also a great value. Plymouth is also worth the trip, an hour away by bus.

Boston is the perfect combination of history and modern which makes it absolutely unique. If you've never walked the Freedom Trail it's a must for any history buff! Don't forget to stop by the New England Aquarium and say Hi to Myrtle.
"It was an amazing experience especially for my first time in boston, however, my fiancee was walked into by an employee while he was in a stall using the bathroom. His stall door was wide open and she just started cleaning it like he wasnt there. Other than that amazing workers, very kind and sweet."
"This is a very cute boutique hotel with a wonderful nautical theme. What is very nice about it is that it has an excellent restaurant inside of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and well.Appointed and cozy. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant."
"The hotel is lovely, in a great location and so convenient to our event in Boston. The one snag was the very long line to check in which resulted in having to reschedule our dinner reservation. Everything else about our stay was perfect."
"Location is great for visiting MIT or Harvard. The colleges are all within walking distance. View of the river is amazing! Short uber/lyft ride to Boston and the sights.
Onsite restaurant is good. We ate at the restaurant several times, once for dinner and 3 times for breakfast.
No complaints. "
