The Colonial House is a place where I would always stay again when I am in Havana as the rooms are nice and especially the hosts are kind and helpful. I stayed at the beginning of the long blackout but the water of the shower was still hot

Property was clean quiet safe and private near to all places of interest, restaurants and transportation. There hot water in rain shower, good air-conditioning and fan and small fridge inside room. Only inconvenience is not having elevator as the property is located on top floor. It wasn't a problem for me at all but for someone who is not use to go up and down a long set of stairs could be a challenge other than that the place was a reasonable price and you get your money worth. The property managers Teresa and Cecilia were pleasant and attentive and provided good local recommendation on places to dine or visit.

Colonial building with kind and helpful hosts
I was lucky to have stayed at the Colonial House after I had been unlucky with my transportation from the airport. It is necessary to pay the normal prices for taxis even if they are high, as you are getting robbed in cheaper ones. Don’t leave valuables in the trunk of a taxi. Anyway, at the Colonial House they have been very helpful when I told them what happened, they also helped me to get cash which is difficult if you didn’t bring cash for changing. The room I stayed in during my first night was a room in a colonial style, which was interesting, however the normal rooms are actually enough. All rooms are always very clean. I can fully recommend this place

Très bonne casa particular. Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits. La propriétaire, sa fille sont très gentilles. Elles nous donnent de très bons conseils pour séjourner à la Havane. Nous avons fait le change avec elle. A notre arrivée, les garçons sur place nous ont aidés à monter les valises car cette casa est en étage. Elle est bien située pour visiter à pied la vieille Havane et le centre. Le quartier est sur, nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème de sécurité sur la Havane. Nous avions l'eau chaude pour la douche, du papier toilette. La chambre est faite tous les jours. Bref, je recommande car après nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Présidente que je ne recommande pas. Nous sommes mieux reçu dans la cas que dans cet hôtel. Et vu le prix appliqué, il vaut mieux opter pour une casa particular !! Vous ne le regretterez pas. Donc un grand merci à la propriétaire et à sa fille pour la tenue de leur casa et leur gentillesse.
