Poky was an excellent host. The room was beautiful, so open and clean. Poky made us traditional Taiwanese breakfasts each morning, and also shared with us his film collection. I would absolutely recommend!

Lovely house with a super host!

The host was really friendly and we appreciated the local breakfasts he prepared for us! Thank you for making the drinks for us during breakfast and the little chats. My boy really had a memorable time here and we had fun exploring Tainan on his advice too! We hope to be back to stay again!

Mr. Poky makes you feel welcome at his well decorated and comfortable home which is situated within walking distance of many attractions. He is also fluent in English and can point you to places to visit, present local delicacies at the breakfast table, and call taxi services for you. The interior design was especially unique, and the lobby contained many old books and dvds that were all free to borrow during your stay. Very pleasant stay with super nice, friendly and helpful staff. The room is clean, tidy, spacious, modern and comfortable. The local cuisine breakfast provided by the owner was something we looked forward every morning. Overall we had an excellent time at Chez Poky and we look forward for our next visit in the future!

I can’t recommend this bed and breakfast enough! To start the room we booked was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided is selected from local places in Tainan, and you get to try the amazing local cuisines. There’s also a great movie collection you can choose from downstairs, and it was a great way for us to unwind after a long day of exploring Tainan. There is so much more to say about how amazing the host, and the space is, but I’d just say to book it and experience for yourself if there is availability.

High quality stay

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere provided by our host, Poky. This included a comfortable lobby with many books and soothing background music. Our host also provided a great many tips on places to see and eat. Our room was modern and comfortable. It was quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was gathered from famous local restaurants and was elegantly served. We enjoyed our three nights here and look forward to coming back again.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the host is really friendly and warm, we really enjoyed our stay with cozy decoration and very comfortable and relaxing scent around the house.
