Spent five days (end June thru early July) in Lyon at the Maison No. The hotel is centrally located and I was able to walk everywhere. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would stay there again.

The hotel is very centrally situated, we had a 2 minutes walk to the Opera. The hotel is design oriented, but everything feels a little cold and technical solutions are sometimes quite odd, f.ex. it took us 2 minutes to find out where to put the room card to turn on the lights, or also the handling of the towel heater in the bath is very complicated. The room was small, the bed comfortable, but the bathroom floor was freezing cold. The rooftop breakfast area is quite nice, breakfast is good but heating was very low also here.

The hotel is well located. The room is.small with standard facilities. it has a coffee machine but not a refrigerator. The bathroom is bigger than the usual one with heather device for towels. We got late check out until 2pm that is good on Sunday. Airco works very well. We may come back.

From the moment we arrived I felt like I was at home. The staff member who greeted us was reasonably knowledgeable about the area even though he had only lived in the area a short time. The hotel is perfectly clean, well maintained, and is very well positioned near Hôtel de Ville metro station. For new visitors to Lyon, it’s easy to get to on the metro, but takes two short metro lines. Once here the position is perfect for accessing the city and old town, many bars and restaurants, and sightseeing. Will definitely stay here on a future visit.

This hotel is a bit strange but has great staff. Our room had no windows looking outside. There was one large window looking over the 3rd floor salon which was super weird but fortunately it had a thick curtain. I felt a bit claustrophobic. The air conditioning was set at 20 (not cold enough in this tiny inside room with no outside ventilation) and couldn’t be changed by us…we had to ask the staff person to change it. The bed was relatively comfortable and the location was convenient. There was no area to stop to drop our bags off but there was parking a few blocks away. The downstairs staff was great. They were the best thing about this hotel.

I felt like a rich person staying here! The staff were very kind and welcoming (the hostess and I bonded over Canada because it’s her favourite country)! The rooftop patio had incredible views and a sufficient selection of delicious food, though I only had breakfast there once because I got stung by a wasp the first time. One word of warning: they pump some sort of fragrance into the rooms when they clean them, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances like I am, you may have to leave the window open for a while to let it air out (which wasn’t convenient for me because there was a heat wave while I was there, and AC doesn’t work well with windows open). As for the amenities of the hotel, it had all the essentials. The rooms were modern, clean, and incredibly spacious, and there was even a mini coffee bar. It felt luxurious despite the few hiccups in my experience.
