Decent stay and very clean
Hotel was super clean. However there is a very strong perfume smell in the lobby. Wondering if there are trying to cover another I desirable odor? Handicap parking was ample but was a skating rink and not safe to use. The regular parking was cleared and salted. The front desk wasn’t helpful nor caring about this when asked as I have a handicap tag. Friendly day staff but a bit challenging for them to understand me when I told them the phone was broken in the room. I’d stay here again. Very clean and convenient area and I felt very safe

Read a lot of reviews before choosing this hotel!! Stay was great so the reviews were in-line with what I experienced!! Staff was friendly and professional!! Lobby smelled great, clean and inviting!! Room was really nice!! Big area not cramped!! Bed was comfortable! Bathroom was large!! One of the nicest overall stays I've had in a long time!

We have stayed at this location several times and it has always been good from check in to check out . This time however check in was a little disappointing. Being tired and stressed from the less than pleasant drive, we arrived to find a line-up to check in. Being close to the posted check in time we understood we wouldn't be the only people doing so and were prepared to wait our turn. The problem was that the person checking us in was not completely knowledgeable as how to do it. There was another person trying to help him that seemed to be more knowledgeable but instead of taking over to move the line along they proceeded to try to show the person what to do, probably not the best time for a lesson. One of the customers ahead of us even ended up putting a couple of drink items he wanted to purchase back because they couldn't figure out how to ring it in. But I think what frustrated us the most, was when it was our turn the man turn and said "just a moment " and turned and left the area? Upon his return there was no thanks for waiting, etc just "your name". He could have at least saved the situation with a small apology like "thanks for being patient!" but nothing 🙁

A “meh” stay
The pros: it was clean and the bed was comfy. The cons: no kids channels in the TV (but they have sports in Spanish..), dresser drawers had handles falling out bc the screws were so stripped, and it was just in general worn out. I the blankets were SO thin. Not a single clock in the entire “suite. I get that it’s a pet friendly but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to but maintain the property.

Room smelt like smoke
This is a highly rated hotel I think 8/10 on hotels.ca. But our experience does not reflect that. We woke up to smelling marijuana smoke in our room. Called the front desk and they told us it was from outside. They didn’t offer to come and check out our complaint, just brushed it off saying it was from outside. Very disappointing service. Also our room, there was dirt on the walls. Overall this hotel could use a deep clean or more attention to details to ensure it is clean for new guests. And for a nonsmoking hotel they should address complaints when guests bring them forward.
