Friendly staff, very accommodating. We arrived late, they made sure they had a table for us for dinner, and showed us where to park (no parking at the hotel, but they can give you a pass for the horse race track parking 5 minute walk and you can park all day for free). Truly feels like a small British hotel...lots of charm, great food and wonderful people.

The owners (or managers) were very friendly and helpful, from the phone call they made to address parking, to the greeting on arrival. We had one of the "Motel" rooms at the back, which was a lovely, clean, modern room, with all the mod cons. We had lunch there, which was great, and a couple of drinks in the evening - very nice choice of beers

An absolute little gem! Would highly recommend this lovely little place. The room was beautifully clean and very well maintained, with lovely finishing touches. The welcome on arrival was very warm and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! A great choice and superbly cooked - we had a veggie breakfast, which was superb - fresh and tasty, and an eggs Benedict, which was cooked to perfection. Free parking was even offered, at a very short walk away. Absolutely nothing to say that was in the least bit negative. I thoroughly recommend, and definitely look forwards to staying here again.
