Terrible location, unsafe pool. On arrival our taxi driver warned us not to be out in this area of Athens after dark because of “drug dealers and homeless people”. Being a 30min walk from the tourist areas this would have been difficult. After check in we went to view the pool as we were travelling with children who were excited to use it. The pool and area were totally unsafe with lights hanging off in the pool, missing tiles, broken glass on the floor and razor sharp exposed metal on the very few broken “loungers” available. We immediately complained checked out and found alternate accommodation. On contacting the holiday provider we were told we couldn’t have a re-fund as it’s outside of hotel policy. I’m not sure an unsafe pool should be part of their policy either.

It was a horrible experience. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we couldn’t get to Athens in a day time. So we got to the hotel at 10:00 pm and what a surprise the first time in my experience I see the hotel is closed. The sign on the door says that the place close at 8:00 pm but on Expedias information it clearly says front desk works 24/7. The phone number left on the door for the emergency reason didn’t work. So with a fully paid off room we were left out on the streets at the night time in the most dangerous area in the city. I am glad we figured out the place to stay at the end . But the stress and disappointment will never be paid off. After all I reached Expedia to inform what happened and what type of place they offer travelers to stay in but they didn’t help with this at all. The hotel is still on the website and still not informing people for their working hours and ofc I didn’t get any refund. So be careful guys booking this place and others through this app.

Great Staff, Property, and Location
The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, from great places to eat to where best to get groceries, to how to run the washing machine as the instructions were in Greek. The 2-bedroom apartment was spacious and had modern amenities. The balcony was spacious and we used it a lot. You can see the Acropolis from the 8th floor pool. The location was close to a lot of restaurants.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked this hotel via Expedia because of the good reviews. I'm now certain those were all fake reviews. The hotel itself may be nice but it is dirty and in no way a 4 star hotel! It is located in the worst part of Athens, we had cab drivers refuse to take us to the area. There was a car with broken windows right in front of the main door, homeless and drug addicts everywhere. You can't walk around in that area. The room itself was nice, but as others have said the shower handle would not stay affixed to the wall which made showering a pain. The power went out the first two nights, which also meant no AC or hot water. However, power was on throughout the rest of the neighborhood. As far as cleanliness... upon our arrival we found feminine hygiene wrappers, old socks, soiled towels and foreign papers in our room. Two of our pillows didn't have pillow cases and one comforter was heavily stained with what looked to be dried blood. They never once cleaned our room, despite our countless requests to multiple people, and the request to clean sign on our door! Every time we inquired about it we were told they would get to us... never once did they! At checkout the person behind the desk said he wasn't the right person to complain to.... Breakfast is served via a third party, they don't have room services, in brown takeout boxes and didn't really taste good. For coffee we have a coffee machine in the room but no pods... They wanted to charge us 5 euros for a pack.

We stayed at Athens Mosaic on 2 separate stays during our trip and we highly recommend this place. We had a group of 8 and stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and comfortable for all of us. The metro station is about a 3-minute walk and there’s several cafes, restaurants and convenience stores within a 1-3 minute walk. The staff is simply amazing and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We stayed for 4 nights and then left to do some island-hopping before coming back to stay for one more night. We were able to store our luggage with them while we left for a few days and when we came back, they had taken our luggage to our new room along with some items that we had left behind! Truly amazing customer service! The rooftop pool was also wonderful with amazing views of the Acropolis.

Great location!
Great location for a short stay in Athens - very close to a Metro station for the line that goes to Syntagma and the Acropolis and to some coffee shops, mini markets and a restaurant (Tasty Corner) which I would recommend. Our apartment was clean and spacious with everything we needed. The pool was small but still really nice to have for a dip on a hot day.

Great value for money
We arrived later than expected due to a flight delay, however they arranged for a member of staff to be ready to welcome us. The room was very large and very clean. Alexandra (I think that was her name!) was excellent on the Reception and allowed us extra time in the room whilst we waited for a taxi pick up. Definitely very good value for money.

Apartments less than 5 min walk from "Hop on hop off tours", train line, food marts and local restaurants. Apartment spacious, clean, air conditioning in all bedrooms and bfast very generous!
