Great location & view but room for improvement
This was one of our numerous stays at the hotel. We love the location, the view over the Sky Tree (you can't beat that) and the good service. However, some of the rooms really need to be refurbished. The new payment system (through a machine) doesn't go well with a hotel of such standards and it is confusing. The staff had to come and assist so why not pay at the front desk? And... whether it is your first time staying there or the 10th, nobody seems to have a record of it. It is always a bonus though when you are greeted as a return guest.

Couple Tokyo visit
We had a wonderful stay at the Asakusa Hotel, our room faces the Tokyo Skytree, a beautiful view. Hotel room is spacious and bedding is comfortable. The only Cons is the bathing area is too small and there is no room for hanging towels not storage.

On the advice of a YouTube Japan travel channel, we mapped out all the things we wanted to do in Tokyo, and then chose a hotel in proximity to the largest cluster, with convenient train access. Asakusa View Hotel was one of the higher rated, reasonably priced options in the area. We chose a Skytree view room, and our view was magnificent. We could also see Senso-ji Temple very well! Trains were close by, konbinis were easily accessible, shopping was nearby (including a grocery store next door), and the staff was fantastically helpful. Highly recommend, and would stay here again.

A room with a view!
We were happily surprised with how nice the hotel was. We were facing Mount Fuji and luckily got a glimpse one day. We didn’t use any of restaurants except to grab a sake after a day touristing. We never were able to find morning coffee and the wonderful bakery doesn’t open until 9:00 in the morning. But great location and view - as the name suggests.
