Riu Reggae Was a great Stay
Our Stay at Riu Reggae was generally very good and relaxing. We noted that we were coming on our honeymoon and the staff took the effort to decorate our room which was very nice and greatly appreciated. The rooms and property were kept very clean. There is a lot of activities to participate in and we were able to walk to the nearby Riu Montego Pay for activities like Riu Party and water park. The Riu Reggae hosted the foam party which was very much fun. There is a private beach to the resort which is not huge but it is very good. The food tasted good too, breakfast was really good and I loved the Jamaican meals (Jerk, chicken , curry goat...). Overall it was a very good stay at Riu Reggae

I had a great time at Riu Reggae! It’s a very fun resort with an upbeat atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and letting loose. The staff were friendly, the amenities were clean, and the entertainment kept the energy high. The only downside was the limited food availability. While the meals were okay, I wish there were more grab-and-go options or extended dining hours for those midday cravings. Too many cons- pack your patience
The place was nice. When we arrived the reception desk was overrun with drunk people. It was not even 7pm and the front desk personell didnt acknowledge us or do anything to move the drunks and check us in. The hotel is nice looking. The entertainmemt team is wonderful! The food- lots of options only......we didnt have a single hot meal the time we were there.. the best we had was kind of warm... Serving staff was lovley and attentive. Beach appeared dirty and unkempt Many rude sales people on kayaks..if you buy..they are nice..we said no thanks and he yelled at us. Pools were well maintained but no deeper than 3 feet deep. The beachside and pool activities were fun! The many many LOUD and ABNOXIOUS American people there yelling and shriking and hollaring and swearing was way too much for us..they were everywhere. This is considered the party resort yes....but there is no where to hide from this over the top behavior. LOVE Riu hotels..but i would not recommend this one.

The waiting staff was amazing. Waiting staff Jamilla and Terri-Ann were super helpful and friendly. Huge shout out to chef Marlon who was so personable and friendly, always ensuring all guest were enjoying their meal and also taking feedback. I would definitely go back. One feedback for the hotel is to inform the shuttle drivers that takes guest to the shopping area to stop readily offer marijuana to all guests. It’s distasteful.

The Property and Grounds are well taken care of and Beautiful. The staff and service was also excellent. However, the hotel is very LOUD! And the hotel hallway has echoes. I didn’t get a chance to rest or relax which was the purpose of my vacation..
