checked out and talked to the front desk staff about paying for valet parking and was told it was taken care of and added to my bill. Later that day I received a text saying I needed to take care of my parking bill, and after calling back I was told the desk people can't do that, the Valet people have to. You need to instruct the staff about this as it was a big pain and quite annoying for me. I will be watching for double billing on my card just to make sure I don't get billed twice.

All interactions with staff members were very professional and friendly. The morning breakfast buffet was both unique and affordable. We definitely enjoyed the 10th floor lounge later in the evening which had great cocktails and beer/wine selections as well as a nice view of the capitol building.

Check-in was not pleasant. Front desk worker was quite rude. We had already paid for the room via hotels.com but the hotel charged us again on-site. Worker said it wasn’t his problem that we already paid via hotels.com and double-charged us anyway. His supervisor stepped in and apologized and fixed the situation. It wasn’t great. We wouldn’t stay there again.
