Ice ice baby
It was near where i need to be. The room is nice and the beds. The big tv is a plus but i couldn't figure out how to make the picture fit the screen. I tried the tv remote cable remote. Nothing so i gave up. But my fridge need ice trays so i can make ice. Not sell me ice. Other than that the owner was very nice and responds text back fast. I did liked my stay regardless.

When I rented the room it said it was an ocean view yea but the ocean view was from across the hwy and other things also in front but because you can barely see the ocean it’s enough to call it an ocean view

Quick trip to the Keys
If you’re looking for a reasonable hotel with no frills this is the place. It’s a bit out dated but a great location. The beds are old spring mattresses. There is a refrigerator in the room but it’s in an awkward location. You have to squeeze by the bed but it does come with a tiny kitchen with limited supplies. You have free parking, they have a cute little pool (we didn’t go in, too cold) and the staff is very friendly. The water front patio was amazing. You literally walk out the slider to the water. This hotel is reasonable priced for what you get. Would come back. FYI, looks like they might be working on some upgrades.

Desperate need of repair and remodeling.
We were disappointed as the true condition of this motel is totally misrepresented per their website. The mattress springs were sagging, a chair was broken and couldn’t be used, the room was musty and damp and walls and doors were affected by water damage and had never been repaired. We left a day early.

The view and the site are very nice. The style of the hotel is pleasant too. The main issue is to pay such a high price for a room in such bad condition. For example, the walls were dirty in the kitchen, the beds were very much past their acceptable days and most of the walls were cracked or showed signs of mold. We booked this hotel specifically because it mentioned having a kitchenette but to our unpleasant surprise, there was only a fridge and a microwave.

A dissapointment
We paid over $500 for a 2 night stay in this place, the second we climbed the stairs to our room we were greeted with dirty walls all the way to the room. The handle and door were equally dirty and we opened the door to find the floor coming apart making it a danger to walk on without shoes. The walls looked like they had not been painted in 20 years. The curtains were flimsy and had moth holes, they didnt meet in the center allowing light in all night from the outside wall lights. The air con unit was wall mounted and held in by 3 pieces of driftwood nailed to the wall, it was so loud that we couldnt hear the TV. Outside, the pool area had a disgusting smell of sewer gas or similar smelling compound so bad you couldnt actually stand there for more than a few seconds. The walls were so thin that we could hear every word from the room next door or anyone using the wooden stairs. We somehow slept that night and got out the next day and went elsewhere for our second night.

for the price, PERFECT
For the price, I love this place. When they replace the mattresses and fix the humidity issue, it will be 5-star to me. The setting is the best it can be. All else was perfect by my standards.

Plenty room to improve.
The late check-in was stressful. We were texted our room number without the key access. It was raining and we had to call to get the code. The two free WIFIs weren't working. It kept kicking us out. The floor was so dirty that my bottom of my feet turned black after being in the room for just 5 minutes. However, we liked our deck that go right out to the private dock.

laid back staff + relaxing environment
Amazing morning views. Many birds. Swimming pool in great location. Paddle board and kayaks were complementary. And jet ski rental was cheaper than any other rental place. A car is required to go to restaurants, etc. There is nothing in this island. The hotel is in the side of the hwy, next to the bridge. The noise from the cars are non-stop in all the common areas. Inside the room, however, was quiet. We did not hear noise front the neighbors either. Good deal for the price, specially if the intention is to go fishing.

Had a nice stay. Nice sized room and a nice view off of the balcony. Stayed while Hurricane Raphael was passing to the south so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool or water sports. Good deal for the price. The food truck and general store on site were very convenient.

They are in the process of updating their rooms. #6 is brand new. The rooms by the docks have noisy air conditioners & refrigerators. Rooms are clean, linens scratchy. No drink glasses in kitchenette. Tiki bar and pool nice. You get a discount on jet skis if you stay there. Staff very nice!

Great view from our room was very affordable. My husband was able to fish. I was able to swim and it was just an amazing hotel with a great view of the sunrise. This was five stars and a very good hotel to stay at. I couldn’t say anything about it negative Accept they do require $100 deposit which most hotels do and totally understandable.
