Hotel Aquamare...... the replacement hotel for Mariette hotel, Bad service, horrible rooms, low average food and drinks. Do not stay here. The room we got was like a backpackers lodge. Laminate floors in the bed room and the bathroom was horrible. There was no shower screen so every time we had a shower the floor was drenched. The room smelt like mold and when we complained and asked for a better room they didn't even entertain the idea. We booked hotel Mariette apartments but was told it will be closed this summer so they said this hotel was there sister hotel. I didn't do my research, this hotel was a nightmare!!

Nous avons passĂ© 2 nuits au sein de l’hĂŽtel Mariette et nous avons Ă©tĂ© agrĂ©ablement surpris. L’appartement Ă©tait trĂšs propre et trĂšs fonctionnel pour 4 personnes avec 2 salles de bain. L’hotel est trĂšs bien situĂ© et proche de la vieille ville et des commerces. Le petit dĂ©jeuner pour 6€ Ă©tait copieux, la piscine trĂšs agrĂ©able. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis chaleureusement.

Room was okay and the location was a good one. However there was no microwave in the room, no access to an iron which is a must. The hotel was unable to supply access to tea. The staff where however lovely, and the pool is well maintained.

Fairly well situated a 10 minute walk from the castle and a 15 minute walk from the beach, there was a little grocery at the end of the next block, a small playground, and a cafe (Passaggio) nearby with a massive playground for kids where adults can enjoy a drink while kids run rampant. While furnishings and decor are hardly luxe or up to date, things were fairly clean, especially the very nice pool. The breakfast was not worth the €6 (coffee, juice, toast, ham and cheese) so we only had it the first day. Beds were the low point: hard, cheap mattresses, especially the singles, which are only appropriate for small children, and even then I felt bad setting her to sleep on a surface on which you could feel every metal spring. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Bar drinks were reasonably priced. The kitchenette was minimal: a medium burner, a mini one (for a Greek coffeepot I guess), a mini fridge, a sink, and basic dishware. Ok for a quick egg in the morning but don’t expect to make a full dinner there. Our room (112) had two baths! That was a real plus for a family.

KÀytÀvien ja huoneiden pÀivityksiÀ ei tosin tehty aikoihin. PieniÀ puutoksia astioissa ym. ruoanlaitto tavaroissa. Huoneen siivous pÀivittÀin, josta ei mitÀÀn huomauttamista. Henkilökunta erittÀin ystÀvÀllistÀ ja palvelualtista. Sai jopa tilattua respan kautta ruokaa lÀhigrillistÀ kuljetuksella. HyvÀ pitagyros annos (2,4e) hotelliin 1 euron kuljetusmaksulla. Alle 100m pÀÀssÀ supermarketti, jossa yllÀttÀvÀn hyvÀ valikoima. Isommat ruokakaupat sijaitsi melko kaukana. HyvÀ lÀmmitetty uima-allas, joka sopi perheen pienimmillekin, koska toisessa pÀÀssÀ allasta syvyys vain n. 1m. Aurinkotuoleja n. 10kpl:ta, mutta ruuhkaa oli melko harvoin. Oikeastaan ainoa lievÀ pettymys oli sijainti. Hotellin kuvista saa virheellisen kÀsityksen, ettÀ sijaitsee lÀhellÀ rantaa vaikka matkaa oli pari kilometriÀ. Taksit kuitenkin halpoja kiinteÀt taksat n. 7-8e ja tilasivat respasta pyydettÀessÀ. Kokonaisvaikutelma hotellista jÀi reilusti plussan puolelle!

Proper en net aparthotel, prima voor gezinnen met kinderen die budgetgewijs willen reizen. Matrassen ietsje te hard volgens onze smaak. Zwembad is klein, maar voldoende om even te verfrissen. Op wandelafstand van de oude stad en de nieuwe stad, maar toch rustig gelegen. Nachtwaker aanwezig. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Autoverhuur mogelijk via receptie aan vaak lagere prijzen dat wat geafficheerd staat qua mogelijkheden in de loungeruimte.

NÄgot av det vÀrsta jag varit med om! Hotellet ligger pÄ en kulle sÄ det Àr ca 1km backe upp/ner till strand/stad. "Poolbaren" Àr ett litet kylskÄp med nÄgra drickor och eventuellt nÄgon macka... Rummet vi fick luktade illa, hade dÄlig luft och ACn var knappt mÀrkbar. Det var dessutom hÄr i badkaret. NÀr vi bad om ett nytt rum dÄ vÄrt var obeboeligt pga lukten sÄ fick vi vÀrldens vÀrsta service och fick endast höra att det inte alls var nÄgot fel pÄ rummet. Receptionisten som jobbade pÄ eftermiddagen hade ingen kontroll och inget att sÀga till om. Vi bokade nytt hotell för en natt för att han sagt att det inte fanns nÄgra andra rum att flytta oss till och nÀr vi kom tillbaka dagen efter sÄ hade det visst funnits det men han hade inte haft makt att ge det till oss. Receptionisten som jobbade pÄ morgonen vÀgrade lyssna pÄ oss, anklagade oss för att ljuga och var allmÀnt otrevlig! Vi checkade ut för gott andra dagen och bokade nytt hotell och Mariette vÀgrade ge oss minsta kompensation. Helt vÀrdelöst hotell.

Ok lÀgenhetshotell för det priset. HÄrda sÀngar. Supermarket ca 300 meter Ät höger nÀr man kommer ut frÄn hotellet. De hade fÀrskt bröd varje morgon och bra utbud. GÄngavstÄnd till gamla stan och stranden. Hela omrÄdet fick slut pÄ vatten de tre sista dagarna vi var dÀr vilket var mindre kul i 40 graders vÀrme.
