Our room was clean and comfortable but was in need of updates including the heating system, bathroom (Knees almost hit the sink in bathroom and I’m 5’6”) and the monitor sized TV. The only true downside was no continental breakfast just a coupon to a restaurant close by. We would stay here again for a quick trip though.

This is a nice place to stay. Very reasonable room rate. Right across from the Lake, Lighthouse and nice beaches. It's an older place, but it is kept up good. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had WIFI, a nice TV with all the cable channels, a nice little fridge and freezer, microwave and a good shower. King bed was very comfortable with 5 big pillows. Toiletries and paper products were always available. As were towels. Room heater and AC worked great. We received a breakfast voucher for buy one get one free at House Of Flavors and it was great. The staff here were very nice and attentive. We will come back here. The only con to this 2 night stay was with EXPEDIA, whom we booked with. They billed us $11 a night more than what their price was on their website. I tried to get this concern taken care of before we arrived, but had a lot of difficulties. I'm hoping to get this resolved ASAP. We have used Expedia many times over the years and have never had this happen before. They are usually very good about bookings and honoring the online price.

Postage Stamp of a Room
It is super cute from the outside, but the room was postage stamp size with absolutely NO FRILLS. The queen bed is more like a full-size bed. There is no room for more than 2 people in the room itself and even that, you are literally tripping over each other. The patio was as large as the room. The patio view is eye level with the fence, rather than looking at the lighthouse. Go up one floor for a much better view. No hair dryer but they painted around and left the hair dryer holder on the wall, no pictures on the walls (or even painted mural to make it cute) but plenty of screw holes to be seen. Loud refrigerator that you had to walk around at night as there was no real walking space in the room. No screen door for the patio for a breeze without bugs. No full-length mirror so not a good place to get ready for a wedding. It is a drop your bags and go kind of place rather than stay and enjoy. Warning signs everywhere on what not to do or they will charge you extra. Not that we would do any of those things but came across unfriendly and cheap. Been wanting to stay here for years and was really disappointed overall.
