Next to the J/M train. Beds were comfortable, only downside was the noise coming from outside and the hallways, but that’s NY for you.

Service was impeccable, the room was very spacious, any accommodations needed they were able to provide. Nice area with lots of shops within walking distance!

Came here for a short stay. The experience was crazy. We had a smooth check in, the guy was nice. But once we got in our room we found we didn't have ice bucks, cups, lil things that should have been left/provided in the room. The housekeeping and doors in the facility are LOUD. I was aware everytime someone left they're room because the door always slammed. And housekeeping was laughing and talking so loud at all times. Also one of the front desk people had a bad attitude.

Whilst the bed was comfortable and location was really good, for the price paid we definitely expected a bed headboard with no scratches. The hanger in the bathroom was also broken and there was no window to get air in so got stuffy quite quickly. That being said the mattress is super comfy and if you don’t mind some Brooklyn noise outside the window, it’s good enough

It's a decent enough place to stay when you're on a budget, and the staff was nice. However, it felt like they weren't ready for guests yet. We and other groups had to wait an hour for our room to be ready. There were some other things that weren't dealbreakers but could be worked on, like there being no microwave/fridge when their page markets that. Also, they took a portion of the deposit, which it would have been nice if they contacted me in some way to say why.

We stayed here for four nights and it was not the best experience. The rooms are pretty good size for a New York hotel but the amenities are lacking and the room felt shabby. There was an iron, but no ironing board and no hairdryer, space for hanging clothes, but no hangers, no cups and there could’ve been more pillows. At least one of the reception staff seems to be high constanly or just really aloof. I was only returned under half of my incidental with no explanation (we definitely did not do any damage, we barely spent time in the room besides sleeping).
Cleaning staff were nice.

The hotel was better than I expected. The reviews that I saw made me nervous, but I didn’t have much of the same problems. The staff were cool. I would give the hotel a 7/10. The area wasn’t bad but if you’re used to being in the suburbs it’s probably not for you. There was a lot of beeping and police sirens that you could hear. There’s a lot of little places you could get food from around which was nice. Not too expensive either. The only thing about the hotel that I would complain about is the noise. You could hear everything that was going on inside and outside the building. The walls were so thin you could hear other peoples conversations. My friend said she could hear people having relations in the next room. We were also by the elevator and could hear people going in and out. Another thing I would complain about is the bathroom. The shower doesn’t close and is half open so water got all over the floor. Also the toilet is REALLY LOUD so beware for the night time. And the last thing I would complain about is the amenities. There was no microwave in the room so you couldn’t warm up leftovers or anything if you had some. Other than that I would say it was a decent hotel, especially for the price.

The hotel has a fun vibe and it put us in an area of Brooklyn that we had not explored before. Don't miss the chance to go the place they recommend for breakfast, JK & Sons, it was great.
The lobby and meeting room area are nice but our room was in a need of maintenance, nothing major but bunch of smaller things that made us question the value. The hallways carpets had seen better days, we had ants... but the beds are comfy and the room was clean.

Like the young appeal, the city bikes in front, the price
Missed having breakfast in the hotel
The aircondition was set too high with made the room and the linens damp

False advertisement in the Hotels.com site and the hotel site about free breakfast. It was my main reason to book there. At least they should have given us a breakfast voucher to compensate the extra expense, or give us some money back.

The bathroom toilet didn't have a cover which was strange. Don't know if the ac in my room wasn't working but it just wouldn't seem to get cold. The room was a good size & nicely designed. Staff was friendly and willing to help.

Terrible location. Super noisy. Very dangerous in that location. The beds were super uncomfortable. Also did not have any soap. They did not fill it up it was empty. The doorknob also did not work. Overall terrible place.

Sheets had hair and particles as if they were not clean sheets. The property looks uncared for. Carpets are stained. Upon entering the building it becomes apparent the place is beat down and unkept.

I stayed here before (five years ago I think) and was pleased. This time I had three rooms for at least three days and each of us had awful rooms. My shower didn't have a curtain so water went everywhere for three days. The rooms are worn out. Inside public areas are worse. No breakfast event though stated on Expedia was included. Staff is not friendly at all. Spit on the inside elevator for the entire stay and when I mentioned it the staff laughed. By far one of the worst properties I've stayed at in NYC.

A reasonable place that offers none of the amenities they claim to. When I first arrived, I was flippantly told that they "weren't offering breakfast currently" and to go elsewhere for that. (it's supposed to be free) Internet was running at 2mbps which is barely enough to open a website, so another non existent amenity. Front staff was oblivious and uninterested in help. Hallways are dirty. Peeling paint on the ceiling. Room was comfortable, though. If they shaved some price off the room, maybe it would be worth it.
