Awesome stay

We had a great time at Mt. Fuji hotel. We stayed two nights. Unfortunately, the weather was bad so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. But it was so comfortable staying at the hotel. Breakfast had very good selection, everything tasted so good. I would recommend everyone to stay there.

negative to visit again

The view of Mount Fuji from the hotel, and the service of the breakfast restaurant are excellent. However, the condition of the hotel facilities (especially the bathroom) and the reception of the front desk staff are not up to Japanese standards.

Hotel is too old now and not functional. It should be rebuilt. location is the best for panorama view for Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka.

10/10 Exceptional

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful when we needed assistance! The team at the Mt. Fuji hotel were very friendly and assisted us with whatever we needed. The view of Mount Fuji from the hotel was amazing! We ended up walking up the mountain to the hotel, as we did not initially know about the shuttle bus but that did not prove to be too difficult. We had a fantastic time at Mt. Fuji hotel!!
Marija, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Pros:It’s a nice hotel with helpful staff. The room's view is magnificent, the onsen is fantastic. Room is specious and clean. Cons: the hotel is far from the main road but there is a shuttle that we haven’t aware of it, so we had to get a taxi to the hotel first day. In total, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel mt Fuji.
golnaz, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

A true traditional experience.

View from our room to the lake and Mount Fuji was worth every single penny. Highly recommended that you either rent a car or be prepared to pay for taxis to go down to the town and restaurants. Most of the times it will be around 2,200 yens for a one way trip, so consider this in your expenses. Great traditional hotel with the opportunity to have a private onsen in the hotel.
Guillermo, 2-night trip

Only thing i sisnt like that i wasnt allowed to use open air bath or sauna due to me having tattoos
WILMARK, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

You need to make a reservation at the hotel in advance if you would like to eat there. Otherwise there are a lot of nice places around the lake.
Kachelle, 1-night trip

We love this hotel. It’s up on the hill. Breakfast was buffet style. Good spread. We could view mt Fuji from our room.
1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Hotel Mt. Fuji is a gem. The service was excellent, the food delicious, the attention to detail meticulous and the onsen inviting. If you are lucky enough to visit the area on a clear day, the property is situated on an hill and offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji. We loved staying at this charming hotel. They recently celebrated their 60th anniversary and I can see why it continues to thrive all these years.
Nathan, 2-night trip

Room No. 556 the water pipe has problems. The water was running all night long.
Piwan, 1-night trip

Great view of Mount Fuji just from the hotel room and restaurant. wing we stayed are spacious but need updates as there are not enough electric outlets and no USB plugs. Service is great and suggest add breakfast to your booking as it is really good deal.
