A enjoyable / relaxing stay at the Oceano in Jaco.
A wonderful and relaxing stay at Oceano. I was there for 5 nights and would recommend it highly to anyone visiting Jaco. The accommodation was beautiful. The apartment allocated was spacious, quiet, very comfortable and cleaned every day. The food in the hotel (breakfast and in the evening) was first class. I used the pool area and gym each day and both were very good. The pool area was very relaxing. The hotel had a very relaxed feel about it. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. The reception staff were able to arrange tours of the local area. The accommodation is about 10 mins walk to the beach which was fine. There were plenty of restaurants / bars shops within 5 mins walk of the hotel. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Jaco.

If you want peace and quiet, or friendly staff, this isn't the place. My suite was nice, but there was construction noise when I arrived, so I couldn't use the pool area or my balcony. Then it woke me up at 7 am the next day. There is limited parking too, so once I arrived, I never left with my car. The breakfast was good though

Great hotel and location in Jaco. Staff was very prompt, helpful and supportive. Not so much of a negative but the only criticism i have is that the menu options there could be better. The menu was very limited in options. Other than that, great place if you are not depending on the hotel to provide you with meals. Lots of nearby restaurants are there so its not an inconvenience with the limited menu. I would strongly recommend staying at the Oceanno Hotel when in Jaco.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was amazingly clean and well kept....no carpet anywhere thank goodness. The pool was kept pristine and had direct sunlight until about 2pm. One of the best parts was the free breakfast....it was made to order and delicious. I recommend the omelette plate. :) If you are active, the walking distance to the main beach road was definitely walkable. Awesome stay and would definitely recommend. One caveat....you want to have overnight visitors, then this is NOT the place for you.
