8/10 Very good

This is a nice, clean hotel. If you are wanting a fancy hotel, then this hotel is not for you. We liked it because we were able to take our dog. It is a dated hotel, but was very clean and we felt safe staying there. We would definitely stay here again.

Our 2 night stay was pleasant. Our room was very clean. My biggest issue is the heat/air is above the sink by the bathroom, so it is hard to reach. Had to use a chair to reach it.

10/10 Exceptional

I thought the hotel room was great especially for the price. The building is a little outdated, but the rooms are very clean. The staff was super friendly and even asked if we needed anything the next day (towels, soap, etc). I loved all the shops around the hotel, as a tourist it was great to walk. We were close to some great Restaurants. Go to Pop's Butt's on the Creek....The food was Ahmazzing. Only 20 minutes from Cherokee. I loved my time there! I will stay again! Overall great stay!

Update the $ for pets per pound on Hotel.com website. Explain things like, check out time, that there is no continental brrakfast service, etc Air rooms out and fix the little things.

2/10 Poor

Out of Order but Deception is working

A pool is listed as an amenity- NO POOL- NOT open this year. Our room was half way remodeled with wallpaper peeling in places especially the bathroom. They are redoing 1/2 of the hotel so you can forget and peace after 9am. We were barely given any towels or linens for our 3 day stay. There is only a very thin cover on the bed so bring your own blankets. The TV had a blue line down it when on- The only soda machine is out of order- We had to drive to Lake Junaluska's community pool and pay 20.00 just to have a day by the pool. Hotel. Com did give us 50.00 on our account for the pool- but in my opinion they should have refunded the whole amout. I am not one to complain but this was too much!
