Traditional country inn
Very friendly, comfortable old country inn on the edge of a large village green. We enjoyed a good pub food dinner and hearty breakfast. A friendly welcome when we arrived and our room was very clean and comfortable with a TV, tea & coffee making, and nice toiletries in the bathroom.

A warm welcome and very good value.
We had a lovely overnight stay in this historic inn. Although some of the property looked rather tired, we had a large comfortable bed, bath with good shower over, toiletries and all necessities. The breakfast was excellent - we chose cereal and a full English. Our evening meal was also very tasty with a good selection of options.
If the weather had been warmer, it would have been lovely to sit out in the large garden, and there was also a play area which children would enjoy.

Extremely friendly staff great service. Very noisy road outside but they do provide ear plugs. Shower cubicle needs updating quite a bit of mould in the shower area.
Overall an enjoyable stay

Lovely weekend stay
Really lovely pub with rooms, felt very welcome and well-looked after. Room was large & comfortable and as expected for a pub with rooms. Cooked to order breakfast was top notch. A lovely little village for autumnal walks right on the doorstep

This is a tired pub close to a noisy road. Whilst well intentioned with good and polite service, the rooms are small and in need of a refresh!

Lovely little b &b all the staff we met where very nice and helpful. The food in the pub is amazing and i wish we could have eaten there everynight. Room was cosy but clean. The only comment i has was the shower curtain was quite dark so when pulled across you lost a lpt of light. Kettle ans tea and coffee is provided which is nice. Breakfasts where also very good. You can only really stay here of you habe vehicle access as its a bit of a drive to the towns. But quite and comfy
Would stay again.

We came from Australia to be central to family for 6 nights. This amazing inn felt like home and the staff were so lovely and welcoming along with the food being amazing. Our room was very cosy and felt relaxing after long days out. I would stay here again as I have never felt so relaxed after a long flight from the Uk! Julie the landlady is so kind and caring looking after her guests! 100/10! Highly recommend!

4 night stay in August '23
I stayed for 4 nights breakfast was ample and very enjoyable having a hot cooked breakfast. The room was basic but clean I was out all day and needed somewhere close by to stay. The Inn on the Green provided this. Staff were polite and accomodating. As mentioned by others the property both externally and in the room I stayed could do with decorating. I would stay at this property agsin.

Service and food very good, however the venue needs lots of TLC. Flaking walls and woodwork inside and out.

The pub exterior was in desperate need of repair & decoration. Room was right by busy road so noisy with passing car headlights shining through window. Very old basic room - resembled a room in 1960's era! Small shower cubicle in room with low water pressure/flow.
However the staff & food (dinner & breakfast) were excellent.

Tired & showing its age
A pleasant enough 2 night stay, but a very tired property thats really showing its age. Room very noisy with sound from the bar coming up into the room & problems with hot water. Also our of hours arrivals etc have to enter via an unmarked door though a messy store room - a little odd Bright sunshine from early morning as curtain not man enough to cover 2 windows . . .
