Fair for a motel
My expectations were never high being this was a motel. There were no roaches, but there were neighbors smoking which came through the conjoined door. The room wasn't extremely clean but, could have been worse. The location is excellent. Customer service at the front is pretty good - just don't expect hotel level service. Having my cat there for free was a primary factor in my decision as well as lowest price in the area.

Worst room ever
We were given a handicapped accessible room even though we did not ask for it. There was no place to hang our clothes. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room, which struck me odd because many people needing those types of accommodations have medication that requires refrigeration. The beds were old and had springs that were collapsed and poked into your back. The floors were dirty and the bathroom fixtures were rusty and old. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shelf over the sink was falling off the wall and kept the faucet from functioning properly. This room is the worse we’ve ever had and they should be ashamed to rent a room with that lacks such minimal yet expected conveniences.

I first got a room that had at least 10 garbage bags in the room. U went back to the office and they gave me a new room. My new room had a broken lock and the heater didn’t work (it was 49 degrees that weekend). My last time there.

Not cleaned... or not cleaned well
Customer service was great. They allowed us to leave luggage prior to check in. The allowed us to leave luggage after checkout. The location was good being 2 blocks from public access to the beach. Also walking distance from fast food and sit down restaurants as well as a grocery store. The low stars for this review revolve directly around sanitation. The floors hadn't been cleaned and were sticky. The room smells of smoke (even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room). When we turned on a lamp near the bed there was a distinct weed smell (like an oil) on the knob. There was mold growing in the bathroom. We found a live adult cockroach and killed it. There was sand on the covers when we first went into the room. There was only a single towel and a single pillow when we first got into the room. 1 of the 2 available wall outlets was broken. I have pictures of everything if needed.

A total nightmare!
This hotel is not fit for a dog to stay in. It was dirty, had mold on the walls, roaches were crawling around, the door did not close tightly, had a gap in it, the sheets were dirty, there were people outside making noise for long hours, and I am sure human trafficking was going on in the hotel. We were unable to get a good sleep, each person was on watch was so happy when the morning came. Its sad because its in a good location, need to paint and renovate hotel.
