Nice room, bad service
The room was nice, but the a/c didnt blow cold air. Had it set to 16 degrees celsius, room felt like 30 dsgrees celsius. Got a shower, then got out of the shower to find out that there was no towels or hand towels. Went downstairs to the front desk and ask them to put towels in my room while i went out to get some food. Came back to no towels in my room. I eventually got hand towels in the morning from the new front desk clerk. But at that point, i really didnt care and just wanted to leave.

eh no frills
this is a very basic no-frills hotel, it was clean…4 of us checked into a 2 bed room-1 bath towel… at first they gave us the wrong room but the manager quickly fixed that. Pool was pretty small but we didn’t use it. There’s no restaurant on site but there is a small cafe/mini super connected on one side and a sushi place on the other. Location was fine. It was a safe area. staff were fairly friendly.

Beware extra charges
The staff was indifferent. I was never made to feel welcome. I hired a massage therapist and they wouldn’t let the person up to my room unless I paid an extra $20. They claimed that it was in the fine print when I checked in, but they were well aware that I didn’t speak Spanish when I checked in and no one explained it to me. The lady at the desk was rude and spoke ill of me to the therapist when I went up to get the money. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I could do so tomorrow. The next day, the manager was not there The day after that the manager was not there, and I checked out.

Great location and good hotel in Panama City
The room is VERY Clean and spacious. There are several restaurants and two convenience stores nearby and Via Argentina metro station is close. The air conditioning works well. There isn’t a mini-fridge in the room. The first night the key card electricity wasn’t working properly so the front desk quickly switched me to another room. Like all big cities there are bad areas. This hotel is in a very safe area.

I liked the hotel very much, however, underwears were stolen from one of my suitcases by one of the cleaning staff. This happened on Saturday, November 2nd. I reported the incident to the front desk, but no one did anything. I requested to speak with the Management or the Security, but neither showed up. I left the hotel disappointed, because, I had all the evidence to point to the culprit. All they had to do was check their video camaras. The cleaning lady that day claimed that she did the room after 2:00 PM. That was a blatant lie, I got back to the hotel around 12:45 PM, after having breakfast with my daughter. The room was already made...
