LOUD Leaf Blower Sundays Starting at 7am
The hotel is conveniently situated across the street from a shopping center with shops and restaurants-- but that is also the worst thing about the place on Sunday mornings. Every Sunday morning starting at 7 am the shopping center across the street has a guy with a LOUD gas powered leaf blower blowing off the entire grounds/walkways of the shopping center. It goes on for about an hour. The Matterhorn's woman at the front desk said they've spoken to the folks across the street several times to no avail. I came to Sedona for a peaceful weekend of rest and didn’t get it on Sunday morning. The room itself was comfortable and clean (except for finding a metal staple in my bed!). The updated bathroom has one of those rolling barn doors, and it doesn't close all the way, which deprives you of privacy when using the bathroom. The morning "breakfast" in the lobby offers no eggs or toast/bagels/pastries, just coffee, yogurt cups, apples, bananas and granola bars. But the location and views are beautiful.

Love The Matterhorn!
This was our favorite hotel, and it was a surprise at how nice it was!! It was a quick book, and it was fantastic! Wish we could've stayed longer!! We called the beds "Marshmallow Beds"!! so so comfy!! Love Love the Matterhorn! And having breakfast at the WildCraft up the street was perfect!

Excellent choice
Our family of four stayed at the cottage. It was an excellent choice for my husband, myself and our two adult kids. Plenty of space for everyone. A couple of things to note: There is a garage but you cannot park in it. It has a ping pong table inside. There are no TVs in the master or second bedroom. It’s not really a walkable location if you go in the dead of winter and don’t want to walk far in the cold. The chess table was a nice touch. Would highly recommend for those needing more space than the traditional hotel.

Great place to stay!
Family of 3 humans and 2 pups had a lovely 6 night stay in a patio room with a terrific view. The weekend rate seemed high but the weekday rate balanced it out. Great location right downtown and so much to do and see within walking distance. Love that it's an older property with some recent renovations. Staff was always super friendly and professional and we even had a room issue they were able to fix while we were out one day. Next stay in Sedona we'll probably keep coming back.

Matterhorn! Perfect! So Cute!
Such a cute little inn right in the heart of sedona with amazing views of the local mountain range. You feel at home and don't want to leave... Only issues I had were with height of the shower because I'm 6'6", anyone taller would have a huge issue using the shower here. Otherwise a perfect stay in a perfecf location to explore all of Sedona
