This hotel has a great location, in the very center of Madrid and we really enjoyed staying there, also we enjoed to eat in this hotel’s restaurant, they served a really nice steak and vegetable soup, a glass of wine was absolutely amazing and service as well.

Beautiful Views from Spacious Room.
Family of 4, we stayed in a room with 4 beds. It was excellent. The view at Christmas time was so magical. There was plenty of noise at night, but we knew that going it. It was a VERY busy area during our late december stay. I could stand on that little balcony all day and watch all the life happening below. So glad we chose to stay at Hotel Europa.

Hotel is right at Puerta del Sol, probably the busiest area in Madrid. Hotel and staff are great. Lots of places to eat and you can walk to most turist points. Metro is right there too. The only issue is if you want to sleep at night. It is very loud past midnight, sometimes until 130am with illegal live performers and loud speakers. Bring ear plugs if you are planning on sleeping. I stayed 5 nights and 4 were like that.

A nice hotel
We enjoyed our stay, as the hotel is within the Plaza del Sol, Plaza Mayor area. It’s bustling with activities! There’s plenty of bistros around. The only downside is the taxi transport — drops you off on the side streets and you have to lug your luggage (not convenient) vice-versa on your way back to the airport. But if you’re taking the metro, easy-peasy!
