Had a great stay !
We are Disneyworld passholders and wanted a weeekend staycation. We stayed one night at the grove resort and waterpark and had a blast. Checkin lines are very long that was the only challenge we had. However we got to enjoy the waterpark the entire day while we waited for our 4 pm checkin. They also have a market on site that you can grab food at. Overall a good stay. We will be back !

Must Read 8 Night Stay
8 night stay. All you need to know here. Pros; * Pool is above average * Wasn’t busy at all and could get chairs no issue * We had corner 3 bedroom 3 bath top floor. Very quiet * Super easy parking and convenient to room Cons; * Zero housekeeping. Only for a fee. Had to buy our own garbage bags, toilet paper dishwasher tabs, wash our own bedding and towels etc.. I did request more garbage bags that didn’t show up. So we purchased at Walmart. * Online marketing does an amazing job selling this property. ROOMS AT THE GROVE SIDE ARE SUPER DATED. Flooring is scratched, bed frames are marked up, tables and couches stained etc… Totally has an early 90s feel and mood in the rooms. * Dryer doesn’t work properly and read this multiple times online. It takes 2-3 cycles to dry clothes and towels properly. Be prepared. * water didn’t work properly in main suite toilet multiple times. Didn’t fill the toilet and it would periodically start working again. * Drains are partially plugged for all showers and sinks. Slow moving drains. * Water was shut off to hotel for an overnight during our stay. For maintenance. Overall, it’s an average place to stay. Don’t book here if you are expecting high end stay. It worked well for our family of six for 8 days. Just really not used to having to purchase and do your own housekeeping. That shocked me more than anything. Had to ask front desk where to put garbage even. With 6 people, garbages fill up fast.

Great family resort
A terrific price for a 3 bdrm suite. Spacious with a water park and heated lazy river. Laundry in suite was convenient, and kitchen was well stocked with pots and dishes. Excellent customer service. Only negative was lack of room service.

This is regarding our stay from Jan 7 to Jan 12 2025 - Our room number was 3525 We arrived on the 7th. On the morning of the 8th we were moved to another room because our original room was next to your game room and the noise level was much too high The next room we were sent to had a broken door operator. Rather than move us immediately, you sent technicians to try and fix it. When fixing it would not work, they attempted to replace the door handle all together. This took hours to complete and when it was done, it still did not work. We did not feel comfortable leaving our room with the door unlocked so we lost half a day waiting around I went downstairs and spoke to the manager Jeff. He apologized for the many inconveniences and offered us a hotels.com credit. He also personally went to find another room for us.The next few nights their room keys would not work so anytime we’d leave and come back to our room, we’d have to wait a long time for security to come open the door. Imagine waiting in the hall way for 30 minutes with two kids crying for the bathroom It's now been over two weeks and I have yet to receive any credit. I have spoken to hotels.com many times. They have tried to reach out to Grove management (Jeff in particular) many times with no success. I called the hotel but they just leave you on hold At this point I feel I was lied to and it's not a good feeling to have. It's not even about the credit at this point. No apology. No credit. No empathy. Shame

Not the best experience
It was just ok. Got moved from one room to another almost two hours after we checked in because apparently our room was not cleaned which is not ok. Bath towels had long black hairs in them… so gross. After telling the staff that we had been traveling since 3 am, everyone was exhausted and just wanted to sleep they moved us to a room by the pools and bar which was so loud. We didn’t get to sleep until after 11 when the pool closes, which they make it abundantly clear that it’s closing, with an announcement over a PA system that all of Lake Buena Vista can hear. At check out it said I owed $50 extra dollars for the resort fee which I had already paid. Front desk adjusted which was great, but just another inconvenience. Room was spacious and would be great for family’s. Overall this was not the experience I wanted for my daughter’s birthday and our first night on vacation. The resort did offer voucher for dinner as a compensation for the room situation.

I had a horrible check in. Stayed in Building 2 of The Grove. Place was "clean" with dust that hasn't been wiped. elevator was dirty and tiles falling out. See pics. They had no luggage carts in the individual buildings. There was a rusty leak underneath the bathroom floor that rose up and transferred to the tub mat. I found hair on my bed, and on folded towels. Many towels were stained - should be permanently replaced and not put in guest rooms. Furniture was beat up and not maintained. Horrible experience never again.

Good size condo. Service staff were friendly and did a good job. Not that clean though and weird stuff going on with other condo owners.
