Great hotel in a lovely location. Just a short walk down to the dam. The room was nice. The food was great. I arrived quite late and they rang through to the kitchen to make sure that I could get food. Very very helpful.

Hotel was nice but dated. I had a room at back and view would of been better if large trees were cut back to see meadow behind shame. There's a lovely walk 1 minute round corner too. All in would stay again

Quiet and clean property on south side of Wakefield. Two nice pubs walking distance at Newmillerdam park. Parking onsite. Ideal location for us near friends. Did not use the hotel food and beverage during this stay. Older property - bedroom carpet looking it’s age. We would stay here again

ROOM AT THE BACK SO NO VIEW, BUT IT MADE UP FOR CONFORT AND A GREAT WALK IN SHOWER ROOM. I did request a accessible room prior to my visit vi hotels.com but the request hadn’t got though, the staff were able to allocate a semi assessable room which serve my person. Food had the steak ale pie, best I've every had.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there is a door connecting the room with the next room and we could hear their tv and hear them talking, I know this is probably because we choose twins beds room and it connects to the other room probably for families who have children so the door can be kept open etc, but other than that the stay and room was great 😀

The hotel was ok, but because we had a room at the top of the hotel, the room was very warm, with no fans, to help cool the room, wasn't until the following morning, when mentioning the heat, we was informed that they had fans available. These should have been in the room initially.
