This was an excellent hotel overall. Location was perfect, near all the main places in downtown Ljubljana. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and varied and you could have tea/coffee and pastries in the afternoon. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and cleanliness was impeccable.

Concierge was so helpful! The location is wonderful, at the edge of the pedestrian zone, yet still quiet. So convenient for sightseeing, yet close to transportation. We were greeted by Jovan, the most wonderful and helpful employee. He showed us to the loveliest room on the top floor of this elegant hotel, decorated and designed to delight. We spent just one night in Ljubljana and booked the Lesar Hotel Angel without many expectations. We are so glad we did it. The interiors are quite characteristic, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was really superior. Since the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, there is no parking nearby. You'll have to unload you luggage in a temporary parking area, and move the car 350m far. The plus side is that you'll be right in the center of the city, with plenty of places to eat and visit.
