The main reception/pub were really nice you felt the history of the place. The garden was lovely too. We stayed in a family room in another building called court mews, the floors were so creaky in room and corridor. The room was ok, the kids slept on sofa bed and they said it was uncomfortable not alot of mattress on it. The room etc were clean. We would go back as its very close to who we were visiting.

This is a beautiful old hotel with character and charm. Some of the areas need a little updating but it’s clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed several meals, including an excellent breakfast during our stay.

From the moment we drove down the driveway we just knew we would love it. The staff were so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The service was excellent, and I'm fussy, having worked in the hospitality industry for around 40 years. Particularly hotels and restaurants/pubs.
