We had a lovely stay in Ludlow, bed really comfortable and nice size rooms. Breakfast was great, may I suggest adding coat hooks to the back of the door so you can hang your jackets somewhere.

Room in need of refurbishment. Tatty painted walls. Heating turned off overnight - paper thin walls (conversations of other guests could be heard through walls). Bedding had old stains. Shower so small - hard to shower properly.

At this price point the hotel are advised to review the standard of their bathrooms, bed pillows and mattresses. All of these things let down what otherwise was a very pleasant hotel. First class service from the staff and excellent breakfasts were the undoubted highlights.

A beautiful summer's day on arrival. Drinks in the garden. Friendly, helpful staff. Peaceful location with lovely views of the neighbouring cows in the field. Ten minute walk over the river into town with views of the castle. Comfy bed! Good food!
