Picturesque hotel in a lovely town
Our main reason for booking this hotel was the proximity to Hamburg and it was within walking distance to the train station. It's location on the river was picturesque and it was close to all amenities and restaurants. Parking whilst provided was difficult, as parking garage and parking spots were extremely tight, even for a small car. Rooms were average size, which is understandable for an older building, but the beds were absolutely awful (sagging) and uncomfortable. There was an indoor swimming pool that was beneficial after a day of sighseeing.

Hotel complex is like a maze and it took me a while to find reception due to lack of signposts. Only complaint about the room was that the pillows were too soft and gave no support and the duvet was way too thick for summer. Good AC in the room. Breakfast was good.

Very lovely hotel room and close to the town centre. Beautiful building and we enjoyed the piano player in the evenings in the bar. The bed was very soft and comfortable but my side of the bed did have a dip in it. Lovely strong shower. Will be staying again!

Amazing hotel with a resort atmosphere. Saunas were free, the refrigerator contained free beverages (including one beer) and the reception area had some small free pastries after the morning breakfast had been served. The stay was a true treat that made us feel special. Oh, yea, the view and location was amazing! Book it, you will not regret it.

Die Klospülung war kaputt, sodass ich nicht spülen konnte. Meine Anfrage dies zu reparieren während ich in die Stadt zum Abendessen ging, war leider erfolglos. Auch keine Nachricht dass jemand da war, oder dass ich das Zimmer wechseln könne. Der Lüfter im Bad hatte keine Abdeckung. Insgesamt nicht eines 4-Sterne Hotels würdig
