The hotel is on the west side of the Seawall so the beach is less crowded. The hotel is nice and more parking in the back, some is covered. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Our room was clean, but the tile floor had a few broke tiles that were annoying to step on, the sink was not sealed well behind the faucet and if you have kids the dish remote was old and did not work well. Minor complaints, we had the double queen room with balcony, good size for 4 people, desk, 2 extra chairs and a refrigerator, microwave,coffee maker and iron. For our purpose we were not in the room much but it was perfect to rest and have breakfast before your next days adventures.

Cockroaches!!! When we checked in the lights were on now we know why...The roaches go scurrying when the light is turned on!!! Hotel needs work... Floor in the room was questionable and patio was breaking apart. Elevator sounded like it was going to break down at any moment and started to move with doors open!! Employee at front desk wasn't very friendly when we checked in...maybe they were just having a bad night? Employee at check out was very nice. Breakfast was good but it was very busy and crowded as the space is small with not enough seating for everyone.

Moldy and mildew smell

We stayed one night before our first cruise as a family. The staff was friendly. However, the hotel and especially our room smelled of mold and mildew. It was HORRIBLE! My son and I ended up greeting pretty sick because of this and made several days of our cruise not enjoyable. If you have any type of bad allergies- do not stay here.

2 night stay. Firstly the staff, especially Robert on the desk, were fantastic. He was cheerful and very helpful. The place was clean and the breakfast good. The building though needs a full makeover. Very tired. The staff deserve a better hotel to match their standards.
