Too many rules and pricey food and beverage
The property is great very new and very clean and the staff was friendly. Only issue was all the extra rules that kept popping up that I did not feel were disclosed well on Hotels.com. For example the one car only restriction was not in the rules and policies area. They numerously stated 11AM check out and that you could check items and use amenities but then on the check out notice they added that you could only check items at the front desk until 2PM... We also thought the onsite bar prices were absolutely ridiculously high and they only allow internal food and beverages, but at those prices we were not going to do it so it made our stay much less enjoyable.

The good and the bad.
Beautiful, clean property with wonderful views from the living room/kitchen/balcony of the Gulf. Unfortunately it was too cold to make use of the pool/hot tub,which were also very nice. That being said, there was loud, blaring music coming from that area late at night. We could hear the music through the closed patio doors. Mind you, we were on the 4th floor and not close to the pool area. The other negative comment, and something that would prevent me from coming back, is that the master bedroom faces the outdoor hallway and main road. It was VERY NOISY. We could hear people walking/talking down the walkway...we could hear traffic and road/construction noise...and we could hear people getting on/off the elevator. I made a casual comment to the front desk that we literally had no view from our bedroom other than a white solid wall, and that being so close to the elevator/housekeeping closet was not ideal. Their response was,"Next time, you can request to be placed in a different location days before your arrival." Wish I would've known. As beautiful as this property was, I will choose to stay somewhere else next time.

Warm retreat during a winter cold snap!
What a wonderful week at Ocean Club Hotel! I was beyond pleased with the accommodations. Everyone was very friendly, the check-in process went smoothly, and the staff was always quick to respond to any questions or requests. Treasure Island is clearly still in rebuild mode, but this place doesn't look like it was touched by the hurricanes. I just wish it hadn't been the coldest week of the year, but otherwise the stay was amazing. I will definitely be back!

AMAZING STAY!
We were absolutely blown away at how gorgeous the stay was. We thought it was a normal hotel room but it’s actually an ocean front 2 bedroom condo equipped with full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and a huge living room overlooking the beach from a balcony. The building is brand new and meticulous. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
