Great front desk woman
They experience a lot of outages during the rain and they gave us a different room than booked. I didn’t love that, but what I do appreciate is this front desk woman. I really wish I could remember her name because she made our trip. She is so nice, accommodating and literally such a joy to be around. She’s brunette with straight hair and I really want to give her the credit she deserves.

A magical retreat
This place is magical. A gem hidden in the forest away from city life. And it feels lovingly crafted; every piece of decor and ambience and atmosphere and even the food selection in the mini convenience store - nothing feels random or like an afterthought. The walking trails are lovely, the outdoor seating is wonderful. The rooms and common spaces are meticulously clean and cozy. I wouldn't change a thing!

What a find!
The grounds around the property are beautiful, and I can see why it’s popular for weddings. My wife and I had a great walk with gorgeous views just out of the door of our room. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and we met a ton of interesting couples and families around the fire in the evening.

A lovely quiet inn on a hill overlooking the Tomales Bay. An easy drive 20 minutes south to Point Reyes Station or 40 minutes north to Bodega Bay.
The room was modern and squeaky clean. A small couch would have been a welcome addition.
Our only problem was the noise from upstairs guests who kept late hours. The walls/ceiling are too thin. They provide ear plugs … but that is a band aid not a solution.
We would stay again but would make sure to reserve an upstairs room.

Wow! This place is incredible! The site and the views are beautiful--tall trees, views of the water, wildlife! And whoever was in charge of design and aesthetics has exquisite taste. Gorgeous but rustic! Sublime! Staff were courteous. The firepit is wonderful. And the lodge is ecofriendly, with a water fill bottle station. Thank you for such a memorable visit! We will return!

Beautiful but remote from restaurants and stores. New facility. Several modern units sitting in mature forest, sprinkled down the hillside. Friendly communal firepit. Peaceful.
