Enjoyable six-night stay.
I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants, art galleries, theaters, malls, and historical sites. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent. It offers various dishes suitable for people from different countries. While most hotel employees do not speak English, which is common for hotels in Brazil, they still make an effort to assist foreign guests and ensure a pleasant stay. As a New Yorker from the USA, I had a wonderful six-night stay here and plan to return during my future trips to São Paulo.

Awesome but terrible receptionist
The room was great service was great except for the bald man at the reception who is extremely rude and unprofessional 1. When I first checked in I told him THREE TIMES that I have paid in full with my reservation before he actually realized this fact. 2. He told me WRONG information regarding room service and I had to figure out myself. And he never corrects himself though he sees me pass by and figured I actually ordered food via room service during the time he told me to be “unavailable” 3. Most importantly, he CANNOT communicate in English and will GET UPSET with you when he does not understand you and thinks he is talking to an animal

Friendly central hotel - good breakfast
Convenient central hotel with a nice breakfast and good front desk service (they spoke German and English as well as ,of course, Portuguese). Easy to get cabs from here and and also walk to the subway. Air conditioner in room occasionally dripped water, might need servicing. Nice views from the higher floors.

This is an amazing hotel in a great location. You can easily walk to the historic center, as well as many restaurants and shops. It’s also close to public transportation. Additionally, there’s a very nice park right across the street. The service is also excellent, as is the breakfast.

Generally the hotel was rate up to an average, hotel was in the center of the city and good dining restaurants around. Hotel staff was helpful however, we had fire alarm went off during my stay and there was no emergency stairways in the building. We had to use elevator even though it is not recommended to use during emergency situations.

Had terrible stay at this hotel. My room was on the 1st floor. Given that the hotel is on a busy street, the noise from the street impacted on my sleep. The rooms at the lower floors should be soundproofed for one to have peaceful stay.
