Located in the heart of the city centre, Privado provided you with an escape from the heat, noise and vibrance of the city, allowing you a moment (or night) to re-energize and prepare for more sights and sounds of Cartagena. The property was just as gorgeous as depicted in the photos! It was in a quieter section of Centro Histórico, but close to the busier shopping streets and clubs. This part of Cartagena is so beautiful, full of cultural sites and experiences and is completely walkable for those capable of doing so. I appreciate the need to access the property with a door code as well, adds to the level of safety.

This little Boutique hotel is gorgeous. I adore the aesthetic of the hotel inside and out. Very clean, neat has a spa vibe I felt instantly relaxed as soon as i walked in. Always had very pleasant interactions with staff super professional, efficient and helpful. Breakfast at Cande in the mornings was an added delight. Would come back again because we had a very good experience but the balcony rooms were booked and we'd love one on our next stay.

We were thrilled with the concept; it was precisely what we were looking for, during our time in Cartagena for an event, all we required was a cozy room, and that's exactly what we got. The bed was just right, the spacious bathroom allowed us to move freely, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurants in the vicinity were also fantastic.

Incredible boutique hotel with amazing privacy , comfort and a location that just cannot be beat! I stayed at the hotel before when it was a “self served” hotel and I have to say I’m super happy to know that it turned into a full boutique hotel now. It’s located in one of the best neighborhoods of the walled city within 1-5 mins walking distance of all the best restaurants in Cartagena. The Rooms are really well appointed , the hotel is incredibly clean and smells soooo good ! There is a very small plunge pool to dip your feet on a hot day but don’t expect much of it. The breakfast is served at a cande restaurant which is about 3 blocks away and one of the great restaurants of the city but while it serves traditional Colombian food, I do wish they had more international options. As a tourism professional, I think it’d make more sense for the hotel to partner with the gorgeous little cafe next door to them which serves amazing food ….literally out the hotel’s door next door. This is really a perfect little hotel

This gem is located within the walled city and is walking distance from all that you want to see and visit in this part of town. The property is gorgeous and the service staff couldn’t be friendlier! We felt quite safe as they have staff by the front door of the property at all times.

Nice hotel , no air-condition in common rooms only your hotel room, rooms arent sound proof as they mention we heard neighbors talking late nights in the adjacent room wake us up when they arrived yiu can cleanly herevthe conversations. Place is beautiful overall and in a great location. Staff is Marvelous
