We arranged for transportation from train station Poggibonsi which serves San Gimignano to hotel with return after our stay. Excellent service. Hotel staff always helpful. Located inside gates of old city with wonderful local restaurants and coffee shops. Good breakfast buffet option. We stayed in lots of hotels on our trip to Italy and this one is favorably memorable.

We have to say that it was probably one of the nicest places we stayed in a long time the family that runs it I think it’s two sisters and a brother we’re just unbelievable as the old fashion really successful Italian way of running a hotel that’s all I can say the food was great for breakfast their services impeccable they have a passion and love for their business and it shows We totally recommend it wholly,wholly It’s a no-brainer

One of our rooms was very pretty with Frescos. Beat cellar with old well. AC was very poor and rooms were uncomfortably warm (July trip) at night. Also, no clear instructions about arrival and we carried our luggage all the way up hill. It turns out, one can drive!
