Located in a century old building with only 15 rooms, the Vain Boutique Hotel played a significant role in the success of my Buenos Aires trip. I'm so glad that I stayed at the Vain Hotel rather than at any of the big chains. The location was great, the service was fantastic, and the value was unmatched. I particularly liked the amenities such as the daily afternoon social, the hot tub on the roof, and the fantastic (and complimentary) made-to-order breakfast. The glass water bottles in each room, cleaned and refilled daily, were a particularly nice touch. The location of this hotels, 3 blocks form the Subte and within walking distance of Palermo's many restaurants, was ideal. We ate in Palermo every night, not out any desire not to travel, but because the best restaurants were there. We got daily activity and restaurant recommendations from the front desk staff. Manque was awesome! Every need was catered to and no request was too small. I find it hard to imagine getting better and more personalized treatment anywhere else.

The hotel had a lot of character and was well run. The people working seemed to care you received great service and were very accommodating when we had to hang out for an evening flight. The location is good and safe. Breakfast was great. I would stay there again.
