Very new motel but the room is not dark at night
Lovely apartment as we had an upgrade. The rooms are accessed from an outside at ground level or a metal balcony on the first. There was a lift. However, as they do night gazing they kept the external lights on all night and there were no blinds or curtains on the widows facing the entrance doors, so the rooms aren’t dark at night. This led to a disturbed night for me as I kept waking up think it was morning. You should be able to have a dark bedroom. It was in a nice location which was a short walk to the main area. It is on next to the main road so there was noise from the traffic.

Only stayed a few nights, but the room was very nice and comfortable with a great view of Lake Tekapo. I had very busy days while in Lake Tekapo so I only slept in the room; which is a shame because the room would be perfect for spending time relaxing in.

It is a really nice place, spacious room and friendly staff. Only it requires some walks to the center of the town. It became inconvenient if the walk took place in the middle of the night and if we need some quick and hot breakfast in the morning.

The property itself is quite nice, and the view is awesome too, the front desk is very helpful as well. But it's got no restaurant on the property, the room tidy service is very very limited (just pick up the garbage and change towels), and it's not as well located to the eateries as a few other ones in tekapo that give you much better value overall. It's just too expensive for what it lacks in room services.

New property condition. Its kind expensive for the value you receive. Balcony is large but it offered no seating. We booked the lake view room buy it was the last unit that you almost sees no lake.
