This property is luxurious but not pretentious. The resort is laid out extremely well, very walkable and everything is convenient. The pool has 3 bars around it including the swim up bar. There are always food trucks and activities going on. The beach is extremely clean and swept every morning, multiple times. it's a small beach but it's very beautiful. Our room was spacious. The bathroom is amazing. We had a swim out room and the outdoor couch was comfortable. The table and chairs outside the swim out are really nice for breakfast. Our tropical view room was actually tropical and not brush. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back.

Although we were, once again, happy with Secrets Maroma beach resort, we can not stress how fantastic the staff is!! Long story short, my 80 year old mother had a medical emergency that resulted in us having to have her privately flown back to the USA in an ICU plane. We could not leave the day our vacation was over. Secrets staff was caring, understanding and accommodating. They went above all expectations!! Due to stress, I cannot remember the staff members I wanted to name individually. Our concierge in building 21 ( Franny )was amazing. Joanna in management -beyond excellent. Bramdon has always been our favorite, and out did himself this year. We can not thank you all enough. Duffy & George

What an incredible experience! First time to stay at an adults only all-inclusive. We did the preferred upgrade. I felt it was so well worth it. So many activities to do everyday. So many different food and drinks to try. The only places we didn’t get to eat was the Asian and Italian place. Only because we didn’t have enough time. We stayed 3nights 4days. I will definitely be coming back soon. The staff was over the top exceptional. Here is the list of the staff that stood out most to us. Jesus - Bellman Julio- Preferred beach club Eder - Preferred beach club Felipe -Preferred beach club Ana- Preferred beach club Hector- Preferred beach club Entertainment staff : Hector Andre Omar Mariana Juiletea Our concierge Emmanuel made sure we were completely relaxed. He even surprised us and decorated the room for my brother’s birthday. Our Housekeeping staff turned over our beds every night. They were so amazing. Spa staff was so warming. Got my hair braided in the salon and with our package we got hyrdomassages everyday. 5 star service Martin with room service was so kind especially late night. My favorite dishes include the octopus tostada from the preferred beach club. The mussels at the French restaurant. The desserts at the 24hr coffee shop. All the cocktails were delicious, especially when they had the fresh fruit margs poolside. Overall 10-10 experience.

The weather was rainy but we made the most of it and the staff helped keep everyone’s spirits up. The grounds are immaculate and beach by the resort pristine. Can’t wait to return. A special shoutout to Javier and Juan for the awesome bike ride and keeping us smiling through the raindrops. Be sure to checkout the excellent entertainment as well.
