Noisy Hotel That Smelled Like Bleach
It was a noisy hotel that smelled like bleach when we entered the room. The pull-out bed was horribly uncomfortable - - an old mattress that needs to be replaced. We would not recommend this hotel if you need to sleep before a long day of traveling.

We've stayed at most of the good hotels in Lake City by now and this one is our go-to. Clean, updated, not smelly, etc. They do a great job refreshing your room, and the staff are all friendly. The suite is nice too because it has a bigger fridge and even a dishwasher. The only knock is that it's noisy from the highway, but that's the case with all the hotels in this area.

Beware of a Wet Carpet!
Carpet was soaking wet when we arrived and we were too tired to change rooms. We mentioned it to the cleaning crew in the hallway the next morning and apparently they had a long term tenant so they just shampooed. I appreciate that it was cleaned but don’t rent it out until it was dry! Our baggage and anything left on the floor was soaked.
