A lovely room on the Rhine River. Nice setting! Affordable. Just a little awkward getting to the room, needing to take luggage up the stairs. Close to the cathedral and other sites!

We loved our stay at the Rhein Hotel. Rooms are gorgeous and the location is amazing, it’s right on the River. There’s a restaurant and bar under the hotel which is great. It’s very close to the city centre and there lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. The main train station is a 10 minute walk. A lovely buffet breakfast is offered two doors down at the Lowenbrau hotel. An extensive range of hot and cold food. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing views from the room. The staff was extremely friendly! The location was short walk from central station, cathedral and a short walk to the chocolate museum. Beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were super cozy. Only negative was the stains on the carpet.

Hotel position brilliant, right on the river, on the edge of the Old Town, lots of dining options around and river cruises available. Room overlooking the river was lovely, getting in and out of shower bit tight. Overall though would go back tomorrow no reservations about it. All major attractions within walking distance. Cologne definitely worth a visit.

Lovely hotel by the river and next to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and let you know about complimentary coffee, pastries and 10% off voucher for restaurant next door. Bedroom did get warm but air-con fixed this. Mattress a little soft and bathroom floor gets very wet when showering

Our room was fabulous - large and great view of the river. Beds were separate but made into a big double. Not enough tea / coffee / milk selection - teabag not to our taste. Slight smell of drains from the bathroom but nothing too bad. Sofa bed made up in room but we were only a couple so not sure why it wasn’t left as a couch? selection of pastries for free breakfast and machine coffee:

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect with many restaurants, nightlife, quick bites to eat, sightseeing and shopping. We literally walked to everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel staff was friendly, good customer service and perks for guest. The room was nice and love the view of the rhine.
