Hotel all around was just OK. It’s an older facility restaurant. That’s part of the hotel was just on edible food and the surface was horrible. Took us an hour just to get our meal. We tried it again for breakfast and it was the same thing and very pricey.

Nice room & shower, Great check in staff & good food at Timberlake. Need to work on keeping towels stocked in pool area & staff being available in pool area. Need alot more safety cones & rugs for doorways due to ice & snow conditions. We slid down the hill going to condos. Resort needs to implement some barriers around the lake and bottom of hills to stop a vehicle from going in the lake. Also, resort needs to salt & plow alot more, even in the evenings. Lastly, for $300+ a night, the resort should add a hot breakfast.

Nice and cozy place to stay
The resort is very nice. Everything was clean and fresh. We like the room design ("wooden" walls make the atmosphere very cozy, and there are lots of interesting details in the room design overall). We visited the pool and spa zone late evening. The water in the pool is warm which is very beneficial when staying with kids. The sauna is hot and works well. Open 9 am-10pm. The lodge is 10 min away from ski resport.

Took my daughter for what was supposed to be a relaxing mother daughter birthday trip to celebrate her turning 10. First, the room smelled like cigarette smoke. Second, I had called the day before to ask if something special could be done for her birthday and they said I can order chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered to the room for $20. So I said yes let’s do that, and they said ok they will have it delivered and I didn’t need to do anything else, they will take care of it. Well they never came. Third, the hotel was nowhere near booked, only saw one other guest the whole time yet they put us right next door (conjoining rooms so we could hear everything) to a family with screaming toddlers. Loud until 11pm and screaming starting at 6 am. Like terror screaming about the clothes they didn’t want to wear, screaming little brats. So we got no sleep. And now have a two hour drive back. If the hotel isn’t full, space people apart. Ridiculous. Doubt I’ll be going back. Grounds were pretty though.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a romantic getaway. I loved, especially walking around the pond and admiring the beautiful geese, ducks and swans. The Jacuzzi bathtub in the room was lovely and relaxing as was the beautiful gas fireplace. My favorite part though was the giant wall of windows overlooking the lake in the room. That plus the amazing bedding and pillows.

The resort itself was very nice and clean All staff was friendly and accommodating The restaurant was not at all what we were expecting for the price. I would compare our dinner to a chilis experience and our breakfast was what you would get at a Hampton inn. We are not one to complain but we were that disappointed with the restaurant We would go back to the resort but not the restaurant unfortunately

Wonderful staff. Beautiful property. We’ve stayed multiple times love it. We stayed there the weekend of the flooding due to hurricane Helene the property did their best in light of no internet no WiFi and limited staff bc of storm - the staff there were terrific! Kind, helpful, dedicated. They prepared prepackaged meals and had buffets open even with limited staff due to storm - thoughtful and helpful. We will be back!
