I recently stayed at Bolton, an upmarket hotel with many appealing features. The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered good views. Bolton Hotel is tucked away near a corner of the Terrace so all of down town Wellington is easily walkable. The hotel is decorated very tastefully. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant and everything was delicious with pleasant service. The Concierge staff were wonderful helping us with our luggage and their car valet service. If I let them know we would be going out again in a short time they’d accommodate our car to make it easier and quicker for us. They were very thoughtful and extremely pleasant to deal with. Front desk staff were equally as good, but we dealt with them far less. We stayed three nights and will return in three months.
