Great hotel

Absolutely wonderful hotel in a perfect location, the staff are all helpful and kind, the rooms are simple, clean and comfortable and our view was beautiful from our room on the 5th floor. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel on the day we arrived (we got there a few hours before check in) and were able to do this on our last day too and just popped back to the hotel before going to the airport. We would definitely stay here if we visit Brussels again.

In the thick of the action

While I understand it was unusually warm for Brussels, some kind of air conditioning would have been nice. Also, entering through the very busy cafe was a bit strange. However, the location cannot be beat and the staff were lovely.

Great location just 1min walk to the Grand Place. Staff very friendly. Lots of great chocolate shops around, including the Passion Chocolat just opposite the hotel. The hotel entrance is via a Lloyd coffee shop. Would recommend a fun visit to the Frites museum, very close by, which includes a portion of the traditional fries at the end.

Excellent Stay

Spacious room (105). Very big, luxurious and comfortable bed with soft linen and pillows. Amazing, powerful and warm shower. Air conditioned room with plenty of space and two large windows. Cleansing towel on arrival was warmly received after a hot day on checking in and water in the room. Nice selection of tea and coffee and comfortable dressing gown and slippers. Lovely looking coffee shop when you walk through to the reception (great it offers dairy free alternatives).

Aris Grand-Place is a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located and right next to everything you’d want to see. Two metro lines are very close so getting around is easy. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and the area safe. There is a wonderful cafe in the basement. The staff are some welcoming and speak English.

Really nice hotel with good central location. The cafe underneath can’t be heard, and it’s great food. The only downside was that there is no conditioner in the shower, only shampoo and body-wash.

Nice hotel which is in a good location close to Grand Place. However that brings other issues. It is very noisy at night and there was no warning of building work next door which meant we had to change rooms. The staff were great and the attached cafe is lovely. But the rooms are very small and basic. When you consider the cost which very high, for us it was not good value for money overall.

Overall it was great, easy to access, comfy and they are using Rituals brand as shampoo and conditioner. I think if they add body lotion also from rituals that would be great gesture ;) You should try the breakfast also which is at llyod coffee eatery, if you check the ratings of the cafe you will see.

Great location but hot rooms in summer.

Great location with friendly and helpful staff. The first room 305 was very hot. AC was not working. We were able to move to a cooler room. In both rooms the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom floor if you use the hand held option over the rain shower head. 1 elevator was out the entire time and the other one did not stop on the main lobby. Not a problem until you have to haul your luggage down narrow stairs. Breakfast was delicious but the same options everyday can get mundane.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city. Everything is literally on your door step. Reception staff were extremely pleasant, the whole hotel was clean and tidy but the best part is the bed. What a treat! Perfect mattress, duvet and pillows with the softest cover. Loved it.

Perfect location

Perfect location for the centre of Brussels, so many bars and restaurants you’re spoilt for choice. And obviously loads of chocolate shops!!! Our hotel was very good other than a slight niggle with the television unable to pick up any of the free view channels, and don’t stay there if you want to sleep late as construction workers seem to start at 7 am otherwise we had a lovely stay.
