Despite the cold, the staff manning the valet service and the front doors were incredibly cheerful and friendly. This continued to be true of the indoor staff from the front desk to the breakfast area to the hotel bar/restaurant. Our room was clean, quiet and had a spectacular view. Winter is a wonderful time to experience Niagara Falls and our Embassy Suite experience just added to our enjoyment!

The stay was wonderful....however, upon check in there was an issue as they said I had reserved 2 rooms, my reservation definitely showed there was an order for 1 room, 1 night, 2 people.so it seems as though the mistake was made when the reservation was made thru hotels.com....i also had an issue with the reservation the following night as the reservation was paid, but the hotel did not receive it and I had to pay them again...again, another issue with the reservations thru hotels.com

My experience was awful. I ordered room service. They recently transitioned restaurants from the keg to stk. When I ordered room service I wanted a burger and fries. They could only do a burger. They could however do fish and chips. lol. There was no menu in the room, and when my fish and chips arrived they charged me $110. For one order of fish and chips! There was no heads up on this while placing the order. Also I had to call front desk to raise my concern and they didn’t follow up with the restaurant they just gave me an email. Completely turned off by my experience at this hotel.

Honest review
The check-in and out process was good. They offer shuttle service if you decide to use offsite parking. This was a new experience for me; I guess gone are the days when you got free parking and quality food. The breakfast was free but nowhere near the standard or service you would expect. I think they can highly improve on that. One plus point is that they have larger windows to view the falls, which is amazing. You will love the view, and the rooms are still good. Overall, if you are Gen Z, you will be happy, but if you're more into 90s Hollywood, you might not like it.

Fallsview rooms are a scam
We paid for fallsview and the first two rooms they gave us looked at a building and to see the falls, you would have had to be sitting in the far corner. We were about ready to walk out. They said they'd charge us an extra $50 for an upgrade, but why upgrade when you didn't get what you paid for. After a lot of arguing, they finally gave us a room up high with a partial view so we took it. Beware, if you get anything below floor 20 you will be staring at a building. We paid almost CDN$300 a night to look at a building, but finally got changed. In the end, to get a proper fallsview, it would have cost well over CDN$400 a night. Keep in mind this was midweek in January!!

This is my go-to hotel to stay at when visiting Niagara Falls (visit 3-4 times a year for weekend stays). Clean and comfortable as always. My only gripe about the stay this time is they changed the layout for thier breakfast. Not as good as before as omelette station is no longer available and food stations are spread over different rooms.
