Good spot near Capitol Reef
The property was clean and convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. If you want to go use the firepit, probably best to arrange it early. We asked several times to have it turned on and the maintenance staff never showed up.

This was a nice spot to stay on our trip to Capitol Reef National Park. There are great views from practically every room. We stayed on New Years Day, so unfortunately most of the restaurants in town were closed, however, we had a good time regardless. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hot tub. The restaurant (Pioneer Kitchen) had great choices for dinner and breakfast. At breakfast, there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant, but she did very well. I recommend that the management cross train other staff to assist during busy times.

Relaxing Stay at Capitol Reef Resort – Cozy Rooms and Perfect Base for the Park We stayed at Capitol Reef Resort for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. Check-in was smooth, and the receptionist provided all the necessary information, though the welcome felt a bit formal, lacking a more personal touch. Our room was spacious, with two comfortable queen beds and effective heating. The shower worked well, and the cleaning staff kindly provided extra Starbucks coffee cups, which we appreciated. WiFi worked very well. The location in Torrey was excellent for visiting Capitol Reef National Park. However, the town itself didn’t offer much to do. Overall, Capitol Reef Resort is a good choice for a comfortable stay near the park, with thoughtful amenities and a convenient location. Overall value for money!

Loved this place. Very quaint. Our room had a great view of the mountains. The bed was comfy & the room was nicely decorated. The room was spacious but the bathroom was small. Nice fluffy towels. Having a restaurant on the property was really convenient. Also, a really good little pizza place directly across the road. They have a first class gym too! I hope they get decals for the pool enclosure to help keep birds from flying into it. Lots of dead birds when we were there. Sad. I would recommend this hotel & we would definitely stay here again.
