Horrible experience
Absolutely horrible experience. When I first got to the hotel and showered/changed, I went downstairs and was informed there was no restaurant/bar open due to construction. So I decided to go out and explore the town for food and drinks. After being out most of the night, I came back to the hotel around 3:00am and was found locked out of the main hotel lobby entrance. I knocked so many times and nobody answered. I then went to the side door where there was absolutely no lighting. I fell off the sidewalk curb because I couldn't see. I then limped back to the front door and knocked harder and the lady finally opened the door. Did not apologize or anything and then proceeded to tell me I should have went to the side and used my key. I told her there was no lighting over there and I saw no key access strip. I told her to review the cameras and she should leave the front doors unlocked. She just mumbled under her breath. This was absolutely a horrible experience for my first time visiting Wooster, Ohio. Have unprofessional text from the hotel too. App will not allow me to upload screenshot

Excellent Staff and Hotel!
We checked in on Thanksgiving and the clerk could not have been any kinder and helpful, even while working a holiday. She was excellent! The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, was very clean and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess was fantastic. She made certain that we received great service. We have stayed in many hotels and this was our best experience ever. Kudos and thank you to your staff for making our stay absolutely perfect!

Best in Wooster
From the initial check in to the checkout everything was above and beyond except the coffee machine in the breakfast area ( please just go back to the reg and decaf selections). To watered down ( fancy choice) coffee if that's possible. So convenient to everything downtown, I parked the car and just walked everywhere I needed to go.

4 day stay.
Carol at the front desk was very nice. No one else was overly interested in speaking to us. Even the morning we left, I walked past three employees who were talking about another employee that wasn't there and I dropped our room keys in the container directly in front of one of them and she didn't even look up let alone ask how we were or did we enjoy our stay or even thank you staying. Pros - The place was clean. The room was clean. Carol was great. Cons- Elevator is very old, slow and small. Mattress is horribly uncomfortable, we had to go and buy an egg crate mattress topper to make it tolerable. Breakfast meh. Also wasn't acknowledged or spoken to walking in or out of that area. They were busy talking very loudly about their family issues, while people were attempting to get food. All in all the property is fine. The area is a little lack luster but we felt safe enough. It would seem that nearly all employees with the exception of Carol at the front desk, could use some training on customer service and acceptable conversation topics in front of customers.
