After driving all day from Vienna, I arrived at A&O Reeperbahn hoping for a good night’s rest, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The first room I was assigned was a mess—the light was on, the sheets were on the floor, and a “Do Not Disturb” sign was hanging on the door. I went back to the front desk, explained the situation, and was given another room. Unfortunately, this room wasn’t any better; it was also dirty, and the window had been left open.
Feeling increasingly frustrated, I returned to the desk a third time. The third room had a tissue on the floor, and the floor itself wasn’t clean, but at least the bed appeared unused. Exhausted and out of patience, I settled for this room after wasting more than 30 minutes just trying to find a usable space.
This was a disappointing and stressful experience, especially after such a long journey. I expected basic cleanliness and organization, but A&O Reeperbahn fell short.
