Whoops we overcharged you
The hotel itself was nice and the staff was friendly, a few weeks after my trip I noticed a charge for $106 on my credit card, but shouldn’t have been there from the Crowne Plaza. Prepaid reservation through Hotels.com and they still tried to charge me the room rate for one of the nights that I stayed there on my credit card. When I called the hotel, they offered no explanation or reason why this could’ve happened, but they did refund the money. I’ve had this happen to me at least 10 times at different hotels after pre-paying reservations through Hotels.com I’m starting to think that it is a standard business practice for these hotels to hope you will not notice that they charged you extra and just steal your money.

Hotel room need a complete renovation.
We had several engineering issues and I understand the hotel doesn’t know about these issues until a customer complains. Our issues were shower drip, non functioning AC, broken lamp and safe. All were fixed after calling the front. The cost of the room based vs the room quality was poor. Old room, rip in carpet, dirty, poor repairs (light switch was sealed down and the dry wall compound was showing. Too much to list.

We had a Merry Christmas in New Orleans!
We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The staff was courteous and attentive. Although the hotel is older it was beautifully decorated, well maintained, and and quite beautiful for Christmas. The location was on the corner of Bourbon Street which made it outstanding.

Awesome place to stay! Highly recommend!
Right around the corner from Bourbon Street. We got the option that included valet parking and we never moved our car until we left. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and felt very safe and all the employees were super nice. Will definitely be back one day.

Unfriendly Service and Dirty Rooms
Not a great experience. Service was HORRIBLE. The lady at check in acted miserable and very unwelcoming. When we came to the front desk to ask for water and towels, we got very short, unfriendly responses. The room did not appear to be throughly clean. There was dirt in the shower and visible dust.

Its in a great location if you want the 24 hour Canal and Bourbon street experience because its non stop all day and night on that corner. I enjoyed my stay. The Covers are way to thin, my room didnt get cleaned everyday and my room didnt get restocked with coffee once they did clean my room. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again.
