We enjoyed this small property. Not crowded and private beach is awesome. The sunsets from the property are incredible. The only negative was the construction underway on the property. Pretty noisy and equipment etc unsightly. Other than that property was very quiet and peaceful.

Overall good. Pros- location and access to The Don’s amenities. Food & beverage. Views. Nice to have washer/dryer. Not as exciting/Cons- hotel is going through some renovations and the room above ours was getting work done early-ish on a Sunday morning. The large shower in the bathroom doesn’t have a usable ledge to shave your legs. Loungers on beach have seen better days. Would stay at The Don proper but not at the beach houses unless going with kids.

This is a great hotel with great facilities BUT the housekeeping service was considerably below standard. I have stayed here on many happy occasions before and never had a problem- but on this visit housekeeping was poor. Attention to detail like actually turning up to clean the room, replace towels, provide toilet rolls soaps and other consumables didn’t happen.unless you went to the front desk reception where the staff were excellent. Something has changed in the housekeeping department in the last year that is t working together standards previously experienced Please address this to regain the standard and attention to detail

We enjoyed the convenience of the 10 min beach walk to Don CeSar, while we had the comfort of a one bedroom suite with its own bedroom, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, balcony and awesome view of the beach!
