It was basic as for the accommodations; however, it was presented that way in its description. The restaurant nearby provided an array of comfort foods.

Challenging drive inâŚ16 miles off main road, last 3 rough gravel. Restaurant on site was good, didnât use pool. Definitely a rustic setting.

Nice accommodationâŁď¸
A lovely room and people. Not as quiet as one might think being 16 miles off 118.

We'd go back any day!
This is a great base for Big Bend roaming. We were ok on the unpaved road in our van but those not used to it may want a suv/crossover/truck. This is glamping- not 5 star hotel- everything in the room is outfitted as such. It was the perfect mix of comforts and still getting that outdoorsy feel. We saw deer, ringtail cats, javalina, lots of quail & roadrunners. The views are lovely & the food was good.

I'd Stay There Again, but Bring My Coffee Maker!!
Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Loved how remote the place was. The only complaint I have is that I wish they had coffee makers in the rooms. I like to have coffee on the porch i. The morni gs, before having to face other humans for the day. đ

Very nice stay. Their bathroom needs an upgrade and 3 miles of bumpy road to reach the property makes it a 4/5 star experience.

Go for the dark sky
We stayed here to visit the Big Bend National Park. The entrance to the park ended up about an hour away, but our stay was well worth it. We got to experience âDark Skyâ and was absolutely beautiful. The cafe provided excellent service. We would stay again. Very rural but very nice place

Off the beaten path for a visit to Big Bend
It's one of the lodging options around the Big Bend NP. It's 16 miles off the highway and the last 3 miles is unpaved, which makes it less than ideal for a multi-day visit to the park. Otherwise it is a reasonable choice to visit the park. The restaurant, Bad Rabbit, at the lodge is better than expected but the in-room WiFi is very bad.

Off the beaten path! Great ranch lodge type experience! The people were friendly and the food at The Bad Rabbit Cafe was excellent! I wasnât expecting it to be as far from Terlingua as it was but that also is what added to the character of the place! This area of Texas was on our âBucket Listâ and Terlingua Ranch Lodge gave us authenticity to our experience. Thank you!

Hours of staff not great. We never saw any the whole time of our stay. They came after we left in the morning, and they were gone before we got back at night. It's located a long way off of the main highway and the last 3 mi of road are not good. The Numbers of the buildings. need to be lit up for people who come in after dark And the floor where we stayed was sticky. Apparently not rinsed well after cleaning.

Super friendly and helpful people. Basic accommodations but clean and safe feeling. Itâs a long drive but given other options we saw, we would stay here again if lodging in the national park wasnât available.
