We were really happy with our stay at the Hyatt House and hope to stay there again when we're in Portland, OR. Our room was small but comfortable, extremely clean, and new-looking; however, it was difficult to find room for our suitcases as we didn't care to use the provided drawers and shelves. It was easy to adjust the room temperature to our liking, and there was a working fridge. The bathroom was adequate and clean, and had a roomy walk-in shower. I've seen other reviews of this hotel that said noise from the nearby light-rail train track was a problem, but I don't agree. Our room was close to the track and I could faintly hear the crossing chime but had no problem sleeping right through it. The breakfast bar offerings were extensive and tasty, and there was a bar where we could order alcoholic drinks (but in the evening, not for breakfast - lol) Also, there's a fantastic food truck pod in the next block, which we loved! I highly;y recommend this hotel!
